One of the most rewarding aspects of my work as a Chartered Accountant and business advisor with the support of our in house Financial Planner, is the privilege of walking alongside clients through every stage of their financial and business journey.
In a single day recently, I sat with two clients at very different points in life, yet facing equally important decisions. The first was a young business owner in his mid-30s. Later that day, I met with a family transitioning a business from Mum and Dad to their adult children. For the parents, the conversation centred on retirement planning, business sale strategies, and ensuring their years of hard work translate into a comfortable and secure future. For the next generation, the focus was on structuring the buy-out, funding the purchase, and positioning the business for continued growth and success.
